Hunger in Gaza is not a shortage of generosity — it is a shortage of access. Markets have been destroyed, farmland is unreachable, and families who once fed themselves now queue for a single meal a day. Food for Life delivers hot meals, food parcels and bakery support to households who have run out of options. Your donation puts food on a table tonight.
“They give food, in spite of love for it, to the needy, the orphan and the captive, saying: We feed you only for the countenance of Allah. We wish not from you reward or gratitude.” (Al-Insan 76:8–9)
Feeding a hungry person is among the most direct acts of worship there is. There is no bureaucracy in it, no delay between giving and relief. A hot meal ends hunger the moment it is handed over. Through our partners in Gaza, your donation becomes bread from a working bakery, a cooked meal from a community kitchen, or a month’s food parcel for a family with nothing.
Our team will happily answer any questions you have about our current food programmes and how you can support them. Email us at vpmalaysia@gmail.com, or give us a call at (60) 18-913-5849 Also check out our FAQ below!
A month’s essential food supply for one family
Fund freshly cooked meals served from a community kitchen to displaced families who have no way to cook for themselves.
A recurring gift that lets our kitchens and bakeries plan ahead and keep serving through the months when donations slow.
Agricultural land, markets, bakeries and supply routes have been extensively damaged, and restrictions limit what can enter. Families who were previously self-sufficient now depend on aid to eat.
A standard parcel contains dry staples that store well and can be cooked with minimal fuel — typically flour, rice, cooking oil, lentils, sugar, salt and tinned goods. Contents vary with availability.

Yes. All food procured and distributed is halal.
Wherever possible we purchase locally or regionally. It is faster, avoids shipping costs and restrictions, and keeps money in the local economy.
Our partners work with community leaders and local committees to identify the most vulnerable households — displaced families, widows, orphans, the elderly and those with no income.
